New Crysis 2 video introduces the hologram decoy

EA's latest trailer for Crysis 2 showcases a brilliant new weapon upgrade - the hologram decoy! So how does it work? You fire a holographic projection of yourself in to the environment. It looks so much like you it lures enemies to attack it, and then... boom! You unleash on them, whilst they shout, "Damn! Fooled again!"

If this isn't a candidate for 2011's greatest multiplayer FPS innovation we don't know what is.

Our anticipation level just creaked up another notch.

The video also confirms that if you pre-order the Limited Edition now you'll get the weapon upgrade from the get go, along with the Scar weapon skin, a platinum dog tag and a level 5 ranking.

Crysis 2 launches on PS3, 360 and PC on March 25th in North America and Europe.
